IA Manchester is a branch of IA, Ileostomy and Internal Pouch Support Group, providing help, support, guidance and friendship to people living in and around the Manchester area, who have had or are about to have surgery to remove their large bowel. As volunteers, our committee members have all experienced surgery themselves so are able to offer more personal understanding and support.

We work closely with local hospitals, hold meetings throughout the year (subject to current restrictions), offer an opportunity to speak with someone who has been through as similar experience and attend open days and other local events to provide lifestyle support.
